Recently TAG embarked on an ambitious campaign to raise $100,000. Many, many thanks to all who have sent in donations! If you haven’t already responded, please, now is the time to give as much as you can.
TAG is growing and we need your help. So far this year, we have had some amazing changes, including $57,000 overhaul of our electrical and seating areas. These upgrades and renovations means TAG will be up to date with state regulations, and the theatre will be more appealing and comfortable for our patrons!
TAG is also working at improving our costume and shop building areas, storage areas and dressing rooms for our actors. That’s right, we are growing and we want you to grow with us!
Come join the TAG family.
Please send your donation to:

There are two other ways to support this effort:
- Season Tickets are always on sale. $85 for six tickets to any of the shows left in our season.
- And for a limited time only we are offering Lifetime Tickets! How convenient would it be to never have to pay for a TAG ticket again? Use instead your personalized, laminated Lifetime Ticket. And what a grand way to help support the theatre you love. The ticket price depends upon the age of our supporter. For those under age 40, a lifetime ticket is $2,000. Age 40 to 64, $1,500. And for those 65 and older, a lifetime ticket to all TAG shows is $1,000. Just make your check out to TAG and write your age bracket on the memo line. Your ticket takes effect immediately and will be mailed promptly to you!
Castle & Cooke’s Shops at Dole Cannery is a good home and a good fit for our theater. Our audiences like the convenient, free parking. They like the comfortable lobby to gather in, talk about the shows and enjoy Joyce’s goodies and opening night receptions. For over 15 years we have kept steadfastly to our mission of providing compelling theater that challenges as well as entertains. We have also kept our intimate space. A small house provides a very special theatre experience, but it limits our income. So does providing six unique dramatic or comedic shows each season. Significant recognition for excellence each year tells us that our work is valued. Now we need to ask for your support so that we can continue the mission almost impossible that is The Actors’ Group.
Lastly, it is imperative that we secure grant funding. TAG has been without a grant writer for a number of years. If you or anyone you know can fill this position for us, whether as a onetime effort or as a member of the Board, please contact Frankie Enos at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately. Time is of the essence!
Will you help us in this effort? Think of the shows you have seen at TAG, shows that have entertained, challenged or enriched your life. Consider how much less exciting theatre in Honolulu would be without The Actors’ Group. Then please, give all you can.
